Stories Inspired by Craft Heritage

One day, fairly early in those pandemic years, I was explaining to a very patient friend the history of the sewing needle. She was listening and laughing kindly at me.

"Why don't you start a podcast?" She asked "I'm sure there are others who would enjoy this kind of nerdy info".

And Woven Threads was born.

I have always loved textiles and crafts, ever since my nan taught me how to sew when I was young. But it has been in the recent years that I have come to love and appreciate the amazing craft heritage we have in my home of the UK.

I have no formal training, but I am curious and love learning. So here is my little corner of the internet to explore and record my discoveries.
